SUSTAINABILITY AT BRW SOCIETY

From the start, our Founder Laura Manning wanted to create a business which is kind to our planet and the people living on it.

Sustainability is always high up on her priority list and this hasn't changed since 2019 when the business was launched.

Still today, BRW Society is all about brewing up something great while taking care of our planet and our people. We know that every cup of tea and coffee should taste amazing but also be kind to Mother Earth. Here’s how we’re making that happen:

ABOUT US COMMUNI-TEA

Our Green Commitment

  1. Eco-Friendly Sourcing: We carefully choose our suppliers and partners who share our commitment to sustainability. Our tea leaves and coffee beans come from farms that use environmentally friendly practices, including organic farming and fair trade certifications.
  2. Packaging with a Purpose: We’re ditching single-use plastics and opting for packaging that’s recyclable or compostable. Our goal is to minimise waste and keep our packaging as green as our brews.
  3. Energy Efficiency: We’re working hard to reduce our carbon footprint. From energy-efficient equipment in our roasting process to using renewable energy sources, we’re all about making our operations as eco-friendly as possible.
  4. Waste Not: We’re committed to reducing waste throughout our production process. That means finding ways to recycle or repurpose materials and making sure nothing goes to waste.
  5. Supporting the Earth: A portion of our profits goes towards environmental initiatives and projects that help protect our planet. Whether it’s planting trees or supporting clean water projects, we’re proud to contribute to making the world a greener place.

How You Can Help

  1. Recycle and Reuse: When you’re done with your packaging, make sure to recycle or compost it if possible. Every little bit helps!
